Hey everyone,
I'm Daniele Catalanotto, I currently live in Lausanne and my wife would say I have a mono-maniac passion for Service Design 😆 I have a few things that keep my happily active:

My kid with whom I spend all my morning
My part-time job at the Salvation Army
My side project called Swiss Innovation Academy where I publish courses, books and templates

I'm an introvert, so from time to time, I need to hide in a cave for a few days or weeks to recharge my batteries, so it's normal if I don't respond right away. Worst case, just send me a reminder 😉

In 2023 I'll be coordinating the efforts of the Swiss Service Design Network chapter for a year in order to hopefully re-create the spark of enthusiasm in this community 💝

And to make this a bit more Swiss, my favourite Swiss Cheese is Appenzeller 🇨🇭

Hi y'all!

I'm Lincoln! I've been practicing service design in the US (Texas) for about 10 years now, focused on the intersection of technology, social innovation, and public health.

How'd I end up in the Swiss Service Design forum, you may ask?!??

Well, my grandfather was EXTREMELY Swiss (like: tobacco-infused gymnast w a penchant for wood carving Swiss) and I've been visiting Switzerland my whole life... I'm hoping to make some more connections through engaging with y'all.

Other than service design, I'm a singer and event producer. I travel a ton and love to practice languages!
I'm also pathetically obsessed with skiing and trying to get better and better every season... And I make all my friends in Texas try raclette around the holidays.

Hello everyone 🙂

Very nice to meet you! I am Serena and I would consider myself a newbie in the field. I'm close to finishing my studies in Service Design @Politecnico di Milano (yes, I am from Italy 😉), but I live in Zurich, where I am currently doing an internship. Originally I studied interior design, but then I discovered Service Design and well, I was absolutely captivated! I love how you can practice this discipline with a different approach each time and explore different areas of application!

Other than SD, I keep my days full with my passions/obsessions: piano playing, reading, going on hikes, photography and data visualization.

Can't wait to connect, be inspired and learn a lot from you all 😍

Hey everyone, I'm Kevin 👋
Happy to join SDN and meet you all 😊

I'm a french guy living in Switzerland for about 17 years now. I live in a small town on the shore of lake Neuchâtel, in the canton of Fribourg.

I've 12 years of experience in Design and currently working in the Swiss health insurance sector as a CX Manager –I do Service Design work along with many other things.

Much like Daniele, I love spending my time with my two kids and wife 💓 .

In my spare time, I run a small community called Design & Critical Thinking which aims to build shared understanding, collective knowledge & sensemaking at the intersection of design, innovation, change, systems practices, and many more. I'm also writing things at the intersection of these themes.

All of this connects with my deep interest in complex adaptive systems and complexity-related knowledge, sciences, and practices (different from Systems Thinking BTW).
